DISRUPTING OUTDATED CHIROPRACTIC MODELS
THROUGH CONVERSATION, EDUCATION &
A LITTLE BIT OF SACRED REBELLION.
IT’S TIME TO BRING FEMININE BALANCE TO THE CHIROPRACTIC PROFESSION.
Ok, let’s get this truthbomb out of the way before I get to the gooood stuff: I have been a member of this profession for 20 years and honestly not enough has changed.
I am committed to making a difference for the future doctors of the future.
Flash back with me to a few key memories …
Like the time post-graduation that I wrote a business plan & had it reviewed by another well known chiropractor who told me that it ‘wouldn’t work.”
Or the time I had a local chiropractor come into my practice in my first 6 months posing as a patient to see what I was doing
Or how about answering the phone in my own practice and have someone ask to speak to the Doctor?
I look back on that time and can see that I didn’t feel supported and really struggled to find a practice model that was right for me (even though my wife and I started our own practice fresh out of school).
It took me a long time with a lot of years of feeling really isolated in my own profession to find myself. I love the ‘me’ I found in the room with my patients and the students in my classroom and college office.
I found my voice and my gift of connecting with another human beings in a space of vulnerability. I love the aspect of practice that allowed me to explore compassion and empathy for others while creating boundaries for myself and a safe space for my patients to heal & grow.
I love to share what I know and what has made the most difference for me in my ability to show up fully for myself, my patients, the students and Doctors I support.
I provide a space where you can fully express your vulnerabilities and I provide options and strategies for you, the Doctor.
It is often forgotten that this Doctor-Patient journey is your journey too!
I was in private practice from 2001 - 2014. At its smallest, it was wait-list only. At its biggest, I worked 22 patient hours per week, managed an entire team and the practice made $900k per year in a 900 sq ft space open 7 days a week.
I ran a health center and directed the clinical education of approximately 4000+ chiropractic students from 2014 - 2019 (5 yrs) at an accredited chiropractic college in the United States.
I am well travelled and have facilitated service retreats in Costa Rica, India and Mexico… providing care as well as assisting students and doctors in discovering the power of chiropractic.
I am good at what I do. I love supporting Doctors in creating a practice that they are good at too.
